The Monthly Open Discussion / Support Group is comprised of individuals with epilepsy, spouses, parents, family members, partners and friends of adults with epilepsy. Group participants meet to gain support and share information in an understanding setting. Epilepsy Family Weekend Camp is organized by The Painted Turtle in cooperation with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. The Walk to End Epilepsy is a grassroots community and fundraising event that provides people the opportunity to speak up about epilepsy, to learn more and connect with others affected by epilepsy at a fun-filled event. There is a non-competitive 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Stroll and ‘pop-up village’ complete with games, music, entertainment, food trucks, activity booths, community resources, and an awards ceremony.
