WALK TO END EPILEPSY
March 22 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Walk to End Epilepsy is a grassroots community and fundraising event that provides people the opportunity to speak up about epilepsy, to learn more and connect with others affected by epilepsy at a fun-filled event. There is a non-competitive 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Stroll and ‘pop-up village’ complete with games, music, entertainment, food trucks, activity booths, community resources, and an awards ceremony. We anticipate as many as 6,000 participants at the 2020 event (attendance in 2017 was nearly 5,000!). Participants include individuals with epilepsy and those close to them — friends, family, caregivers, classmates, employers and medical professionals from local epilepsy centers and neurology departments.
