With much excitement and appreciation for his participation, we are pleased to announce that Pasadena Mayor Tornek will be joining us at the Walk to End Epilepsy 2017.
“Pasadena is proud to host the Walk to End Epilepsy at the Rose Bowl on Sunday, November 5. It’s an enjoyable way for the community to connect, fund research, access resources and information, improve care and cure – all while working towards the ultimate goal to End Epilepsy®”. – Mayor Tornek
On July 25, Mayor Tornek took time from his busy schedule to meet with our End Epilepsy Team, which included Walk Captain and Pasadena resident, Jen, and her husband, Ryan.
Mayor Tornek listened intently and expressed empathy and understanding while listening to Jen share how epilepsy has impacted not only her life, but her loved ones as well. Jen underscored the purpose of the Walk to unite others with epilepsy, increase awareness and raise funds for vital programs and research.
Join Mayor Tornek and Jen’s Walk team, Shook But Not Broken, at the Walk to End Epilepsy on November 5, 2017 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. To learn more, visit WalktoEndEpilepsy.org.
